About
Alexandra (Bosee) Jeske, LMFT
I am a passionate therapist who believes in walking alongside individuals, families, and groups as a catalyst for meaningful change. I take a holistic approach to mental health, honoring the connection between mind, body, lived experience, and influential environments.
I have over 12 years of experience in the mental health field opening five programs (2 residential, 2 IOP/PHP, 1 therapeutic day school), working at four schools, and managing a private practice.
Working with both adolescents and adults (individuals, families, and couples), I have spent the past 11 years focused on the treatment of eating disorders and OCD. Other specialties include substance use, relational challenges, mood disorders, and anxiety, and I also have a deep passion for supporting individuals during the transition into motherhood.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a school consultant, former yoga teacher (yin + vinyasa), world traveler, wife, and mother: roles that deeply inform the empathy, balance, and perspective I bring into the therapy space. I tailor the treatment for each client and integrate multiple therapeutic approaches to best support their healing and recovery.
The name Sound Wellness is an homage to growing up on Long Island Sound. I find being by and on the water to be incredibly healing, and wanted to bring that energy to my practice.
